On October 7th 2013, the proclaimed award to the memory of Late Professor Elias G. Mariolopoulos was awarded to Haroulis Anastasios student at the Dental School of the University of Athens for his exceptional performance and for fulfilling all criteria set at the announcement of the award.

The Foundation together with the Balkan Environmental Research and Development Institute (BERDI) and the Balkan Physical Union proclaimed a Balkaniad for the Environment. The awards were presented to students from Romania, FYROM, Turkey and Greece, during a ceremony held in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki on October 1998.
The Foundation awarded high school students that participated in the “First Student’s Competition of Environmental Programs award”, organized by the American College in Athens at a ceremony held in May 5-6, 1995.
