Objectives of the Foundation

Development of the environmental sciences
by studies of past and present
interaction of man and the environment.
The ultimate goal of these studies is to
obtain a scientific perspective for viewing
anticipated changes in man's interaction
with the environment. In order to
meet these objectives the foundation
is organizing and sponsoring scientific
meetings, lectures and in performing research
in the environmental field.

Awards are established for recognition of
outstanding contributions by professionals
toward the advancement of the environmental
sciences. Another program
of awards is planned for fellowships for
training and international exchange of
students and research scholars.

Environment and humanity's cultural
heritage.
The Foundation cooperates with both domestic
and international Agencies, Research
Centers and Institutions of higher learning in
order to achieve its objectives.
