Observing System Requirements for Managing and Mitigating the Impacts of Human Activities and Coastal Inudation in the Mediterranean Region

The Mariolopoulos-Kanaginis Foundation for the Environmental Sciences co-organized with the National Observatory Athens a meeting of scientists who are involved on collection of environmental data in the frame of the international bureau of the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) entitled "Observing System Requirements for Managing and Mitigating the Impacts of Human Activities and Coastal Inundation in the Mediterranean Region". The meeting took place at the Biomedical Research Foundation's building of the Academy of Athens on 9-13 June 2008. More details can be found at the Greek GEO Office website for the Workshop.
