organising for
the third year
the Greek

French Festival
Geomeetings
"Les
Rencontres de la
Terre"
entitled
"The
city of tomorrow"
from the
24th
January to the
5th of June 2012.

The
Mariolopoulos -
Kanaginis
Foundation for
the
Environmental
Sciences is
co-organizing
with the Culture
Center (Pnevmatiki
Estia) of Sparta
(SE Peloponnese)
a series of 8
monthly lectures
on a number of
topics related
to the
environment. The
series of
lectures are
scheduled to be
held the first
Friday of the
month starting
in October 2011
through May
2012. The aim of
the program is
to disseminate
and inform local
communities on
current issues
of environmental
concern.
